It's real warm. Almost 90 today. I'm not doing much. Going through some things and finding more stuff to sell on Craigslist. I couldn't find my booklet for my DVD Mini Video Cam. I was looking all over the place. I searched for over an hour and couldn't find it. Then I realized I had one small plastic box under my bed. That's where it was, along with a couple other things to go with the camera. by searching for those things I came across other stuff anyway..Ha!
So that's about it. Didn't see the woodchucks today but yesterday I was very surprised to see two adults out here at the same time. I kept hearing this crying noise. At first I thought it was a Bluejay screeching but it was sharper. I heard it about three times and that's when I looked out and saw those two. I heard the noise again so decided to open the window and look better out there. Crouched next to the building was a young woodchuck. He was making those crying noise. I have never, ever heard a woodchuck make any noise before. I wanted to get video but by opening the window it made the little one run away long with the one adult. They ran towards the front of the building. The other adult stayed. He's the one that always comes begging so he was not afraid of me.
A woman upstairs called to tell me the Doe and fawn were out there but I kept watching and never saw them come into my view. I'll keep watching each night. That was around 5:30. I do want to get some pictures of them during the daylight.
