Tuesday, June 28, 2011-Visitors-New Addition In Family

Yesterday my cousin, Angie, brought her Gram ( My Aunt Mary) and Mary's sister, Veronica, over with her. That was a surprise. I was expecting Angie because I had asked her to exchange some coins for me. She just bought a new car. It's a convertible and Mary and Veronica were riding with the top down. They loved it! I only wished I had thought to take pictures while they were here and of them in the car. Darn it. Hope I get another opportunity to get some pics of them.

I'm healing up from my fall on Friday. My legs aren't feeling bad and the tail bone is not as bad but still bothers me a bit when I sit too long.

I went out today. Had to go to Walmart for a few items and to Agway for some critter food. I went during the lunch time when the trial was in recess so I wouldn't miss anything.
Jeanne called around 2:00 and wanted to come over and show me her new vehicle she just bought today. It's a Toyota Rav. A small SUV. It's beautiful!! And I'll be able to get in it! I never could get a ride from her before because I can't get out of small cars. I have a hard enough time getting out of my Oldsmobile and that's a mid size car. I always wished I had bought a small truck. I don't have the leg muscles to get up so always use my arms to push myself up and out. But with SUV's I can just slide into the seat or up a little. I love them.
Jeanne stayed till around five then I walked out to see her new vehicle and look it over. Took some pics of her. Will add one later here.
It got quite warm today but this evening we had a couple hard downpours. Tomorrow is going to be a lot cooler. Only about 69 or 70. I like that!
My nephew, Gavin, and his girlfriend, Cortney, had their baby boy at 1:38 this morning. ( The 28th) She was having a hard time so they took it C-section. She had been in the hospital all day and night. A little boy. They named him Xander Lyric Miller. Quite a name huh? They are living with her father up near Watertown. Her father retired from the military. Jane is driving up tomorrow to see them so I'll find out more after that.
That's all for now.
Take care everyone.

Congratulations on the new addition Ginny, lovely news for you.

That's a very smart car. My friend has an older version and is very pleased with it. We have a Vauxhall Meriva because I have back problems and I can just slide in and out of it so easily.

I hope the injuries continue to improve. I have joined the club! I tripped on Saturday evening and gashed my forehead on the corner of a low table. I have never seen so much blood, it was everywhere. I probably should have gone to casualty but Saturday night it would be full of drunks and I would have had around a six hour wait and I like visiting doctors and hospitals as much as you do ;) I kept it covered until Tuesday, it isn't a pretty sight and is very tender and I think I will be left with a scar. I also have a good bruise on my hip. However, I am thankful I didn't suffer concussion and that it didn't damage my eyes.

We're a good pair together Ginny ;)

OMG! That sounds awful Jan! I sure am glad you are okay. It made me cringe. It must have hurt like hell. And so close to your eyes. You sure didn't need that happening. I guess you'd know if you needed a doctor, just like me. But be careful. Hope you heal up fast. Hugs!!!
