June 16, 2011-Finally Some Sunny Days!

Yesterday and today are sunny and warmer. It's about time. Yesterday I felt a bit ambitious and cleaned out a few things. Also did some laundry last night. That laundry room was a mess! The washing machine was filthy on the outside. Someone had spilled detergent or something all down the sides and didn't even clean it. I always clean the machines and mop the floor before I start but that was ridiculous. I don't know why no one else ever cleans that room. Bunch of pigs is all I can say.
Today I'm paying for all that I did yesterday. My bones hurt bad and my back is killing me. Can't walk very good. Didn't sleep well. Was awake at 4 am. So it's not a good day. I'm just going to relax as much as I can. I've already taken one Ibuprofen but will take another later if I have to.

Gloria and Aunt Mary and her sister Ronnie were going to come over but I called Gloria and told her I wasn't up to it. So they are going to wait till next week sometime. Ronnie has a couple old pictures of my mother that she wants to give me. I love seeing old pictures that I haven't seen before. I'm trying to get her copy of my mother and father's wedding day because it will be much clearer than the paper copies that I had gotten before from another Aunt. I'd love to see all Mary's photos but I've never taken the time. maybe this summer I'll ask her to bring her old albums.
Jack is doing better. He can swallow better but his face is still numb on one side. Not sure if he'll be coming to NY this month or not. He might have to wait longer to make sure he can travel. If I were him I'd stay home for another month just to make sure. And where his wife can be with him.
The defense started their side of the Casey Anthony trial this morning. So far it's been boring. He's not as good as the State lawyers are. They are on lunch break till 1:30.
It's already 81 degrees here. At least it's not humid. But more rain is coming in for tomorrow. Then it's back to sunshine for Sat. and Sun. And warmer. My air conditioner is working but now I have to empty the water every so often. It's not working like it should be. It's so hard to drain. I'll be busting a blood vessel leaning over like that. I can't squat like other people because of the polio. Don't have those muscles. So I have to bend from the waist and try to pick up the pan of water. I always spill some and it pisses me off. But at least the air is cool so far.
Still no fox pups. I'm waiting patiently..ha ha !
Have a nice day everyone.

Oh Ginny, it sounds like you have over done it. Hope the pain subsides soon.

No sun here today and it was cool...very cool for June.

My husband and son have seen 3 fox crossing the hiway on the way to work. Sure hope they don't get hit by a car. They were crossing I am sure to get to the river. My son said they are beautiful. Wish I had seen them also.

The picture you posted with your granddaughter on the last post (i think it was the last post...lol)is a great pic. You are both beautiful!

Rest up and try to spot the fox pups! Karen

Thanks Karen I'm a bit better today. I always do more than I should. I can't sit still for long. Hope you get to see those foxes also. Were they Gray foxes or Red?? Take care.

Hi Ginny, Yes I think you overdid it too. You must try and take it easy for a day or two.

I am not having much luck with watching that trial. I can never work out the time difference and it always seems to be over for the day or lunchtime or something! I did see some this afternoon which was pretty boring with a forensic entomologist (I think that's what he was)talking about rotting pigs! Apparently it was just before lunch... Yuk!! :) I haven't managed to catch any of the 'ordinary' witnesses, only the boring experts. Will any of the ordinary witnesses take the stand now?

HUGS! :)

Ha! I know what you mean. The trial has been boring since the defense started really. Then it should get interesting once those people are all done.
