The past couple days have been beautiful. No humidity and breezy. It rained early this morning but was a brief shower. A bit foggy because the heat is moving in. I haven't been doing too much. Still trying to get a few things cleared out of here. Going through a few boxes and weeding out more papers.
The Doe has been here every day but I never see the fawns. Wanda, who lives in one of the upstairs apartments called me yesterday and said there are two does out there. I missed them. But now I know why one of the fawns looked a bit bigger. I'm thinking they each have one and hang around together. Last year a smaller doe was always with the other one. Sort of watching over the fawns while the other one ate. Hard to know unless I see them all together and check out the other doe to see if she's been nursing.
Wanda called last evening to tell me that a baby fox was out on the back hill! She was sitting out there with a couple other people and saw it sitting near the woodchuck hole. It's too far over for me to see it though so I have to wait till they come my way one of these days. But I was happy to hear that they are finally coming out of the woods. I can't wait to get some pictures.
My belly was itching again yesterday from the flange. I can't figure out why. I am using the powder and barrier wipes all the time now. I just start feeling good and then somehting else starts to bug me.
The tumor that is in my groin area is growing too. It's starting to bother me a bit. I sure hate to have surgery again but if it gets too big I might have to. But for now I'm leaving it alone. My right knee is having very slight weakness and pain. Not sure why. That knee hasn't bothered me in years. I just get the other one feeling good and now this one starts...
I haven't been taking any Ibuprofen this week. Instead I have been taking White Willow Bark capsules. Not sure what it will do but as long as my pain has subsided I am not going to take the Ibuprofen. Give my liver a break for a while.
I'm not looking forward to the days ahead. It's going to be near 90 degrees again. I have to go out tomorrow morning for a few things and then I hope I won't have to go out till the humidity lessons a bit. I wish it would stay around 70 or 75 all summer. I shouldn't complain. Look at all those poor people who have been flooded in MN and all the people that lost their homes in CO. That fire is the worst they've ever seen out there and it's still going. I heard over 600 homes have been lost. I can't believe the pictures. I lived just outside of Colorado Springs in the early 70's and we'd go into town and into the mountains a lot. It was so beautiful. There was this huge hotel. I can't remember the name right now but it's well known. Sure hope the fire didn't hit that. Will Roger's Monument is up there also. I don't even want to think of the poor animals that got burned to death. It's so sad.
Well. It's time to get my birds up. Have a nice weekend everyone.
