May 3, 2012-Still Having Problems

I am getting frustrated so bad over this Ostomy stuff. I have changed it four times in three days. I changed it this morning at 8 am and had to change it again at 7 pm, although I should have taken it off sooner but my daughter was coming over and it takes me an hour to change these things. So I waited till after she was gone. She had to go to Aubuchon to pick up my bird chow. They got their new order in today.Thank heavens. I was getting frustrated over that also. And no way could I have gone out today.
My belly is so raw and bleeding right now. I don't know what I'm going to do. The doctors will just tell you to try different products and I already have tried everything. The best way for me to learn about this stuff is to read someone else's comments in the forums . Other people that go through this know more than anyone else about what works best. I wish there was a way to put a plug in that thing till my belly healed..Ha! Ha! When it bleeds around the Stoma I can't get the Eiken Seal to stick and that is what is causing the problem right now. That and the terrible itching from the tape. I tried all the new samples and nothing works. Mostly because I have to use those seals on everything. If I didn't have an inverted Stoma then it would be a whole lot better. But when you have a hole in your belly, it's hard to get anything to stick. I thought I had it under control and I did for quite a few months. They were staying on for 6 to 7 days at a time.  It might be my diet and body chemistry that changed instead of the tape. I'll never know. But I am off all the sugar now. I've never had this much of a problem ever. I keep forgetting to get the Gold Bond Powder. If it's a fungus then I need to be putting something else on it. It looks like a very bad diaper rash. Those poor babies that get rashes like that are in bad pain. Now I know how they feel. My belly was stinging so bad this afternoon. I had to put the barrier wipe on my skin and boy, did that sting! But it's the only thing that will protect the bad areas till it's healed. I tried not using it this morning and I am paying for it now.
Well. Enough about that crap.

My niece, whose husband just got killed, went to the doctor today and had a Sonogram taken of the baby. I'm amazed how much it shows the baby. A good picture of it on Facebook. I don't know anything else but do know that she has a lot of friends helping her. In fact, a bunch of guys are delivering her some wood this weekend. She put it on Facebook that she needed some. She'll be okay,  I'm sure.
We are getting some warmer weather now. It was in the 70's today and getting warmer tomorrow, although it might rain tonight and tomorrow. But a nice weekend coming up. A little cooler. I saw the big moon behind the trees tonight. Saturday is when it's full. Called the Perigee or Super Moon. It means the moon will be closest to the earth at this time.
I saw my first new squirrel today. Even though it's pretty big now. They only come down after three months and when they are ready to be on their own. I didn't get a good picture because it's skittish and runs away a lot. But it will be back.
I still see one of the foxes at night. Can't get any pictures of it. It runs so fast when it sees any movement at the window.  Not sure if they will even bring their pups out this year. If there are any. All the old favorite foxes disappeared last July and if these are the only two left they never got too friendly like their mom and dad and grandma did. I sure miss them.
Well, it's my bedtime again. I'm so tired. haven't been sleeping well.
