Lunch With Cousin And Friend-5-10-2012

I met my cousin, Gloria and her friend Barb for lunch at Denny's. We had a fun visit for a couple hours. Denny's has changed their menus though and I couldn't get a tuna melt or even a turkey sandwich. I didn't want anything that I felt might be dirty so I ended up with chicken strips. No celery though. But the mustard sauce was good. But I could have bought two large packages of chicken breasts for what it costs for lunch..Ha! But it's worth going just for a few laughs. I sure hate walking with my crutches. It's so hard. I really need a smaller walker that I can take with me. The one I have is too large and bulky to try and get into the car. It was a rainy and very cool day. And windy also. I was going to go shopping but decided not to. Just wasn't in the mood to go into Walmart.. I'll go over the weekend. Or maybe not! I forgot it's Mother's Day weekend. The stores will be packed this weekend. Maybe I'll have Nina pick me up some water. That's all I really need for now. At least the sun is shining this morning. (The 11th) And it's going to get warmer. I finally got a picture of the male fox that has been coming every night. He was just sitting out there and I talked to him and he didn't even run. So that leads me to believe that the babies are on the move or close by. I can't wait! I sure hope I see some. Have a nice weekend everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there!
