It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining and it's only in the 50's and breezy. Perfect weather for me! After the past two rainy days it is nice. Although yesterday was sunny for a good portion of it till about three pm.Then it rained hard for a while and again at five. It was very windy too.
I went out early this morning at 7:30 to get more critter food. And to stop at Walmart because I didn't get my paper towels when I was in there the other day. They were all out of my brand. That's the first time I've been out early like that in ages. I usually go at night after the birds are to bed. They aren't uncovered yet at 7:30 either so they aren't screaming when I leave.
Both birds were getting bad yesterday and I had a hard time catching them to put them in their cages for the evening. So today they weren't allowed out till noon. Ricky anyway. I'm making Gigi stay in hers all day. She's been getting too wild.
My living room window has broke again! That pisses me off. The springs are always breaking on these things. Now it will take months to get the company down here to fix it. I know I open them a lot all day but they should not break all the time. Cheap crap!
I saw a Raccoon outside my window the other night but I left it alone. Wish I could get a picture of it though. I don't want it getting too friendly. It was eating the fox treats. The skunk has been eating all the treats too. I've been throwing the fox's nuts up over the rock wall again so they will come over and stay for a while so I can get pictures. The pair is out there and later there is another one that comes. She looks smaller and younger and has such a pretty face. She's got to be related to Granny. Her face was so pretty also. I hope I can get a picture of that one someday.
I haven't heard from anyone in the family so I guess they all must be okay. Haven't seen Pam on Facebook in ages. I do send Carol a message now and then. She's still working at Recovery Solutions out in Las Vegas and seems to really like it there.
Alysha is doing okay. She has lots of support and people are still having silent autions everywhere to help her. I haven't heard anything else though.
I'm going to enjoy this nice day. It's supposed to get real hot over the weekend so I won't be liking that at all. I guess I'll be dragging the air conditioner out soon.

What kind of nuts do the foxes like? Do you purchase by bulk? It must get quite expensive. I've pratically quit feeding "my birds" because of the costs. Makes me sad and mad at the same time.
