I sometimes wonder if what I'm doing for this cancer will help or not. At times I get my doubts. Especially when I start to have a little pressure. But I have nowhere near the pressure and pain that I had a month ago so I do think it's helping. There is no pain at all. Then I get to thinking that maybe the cancer has spread and I just can't feel it yet. Only time will tell. But I know I will never go back to the Radiologist and never have any treatments of that kind again.
I don't have any heavy bleeding either like I used to have. Sometimes in the morning there will be just a tinge of very light red color but it's hardly noticeable. I still won't eat any raw celery though. Since that is what I ate back in September that caused my real heavy bleeding. I'm always afraid that something will scratch that tumor and make me bleed again. But I am eating all kinds of roughage, like nuts and flax seeds and Almond Butter, which isn't totally smooth. I crack fresh Pecans every day and eat them along with Organic raw Coconut. So none of these things are scratching that tumor.
I have made some wheat and sugar and yeast free cookies also. I make them with Organic Almond Flour and Flaxseed meal and butter. Add a banana and a few packets of Stevia for sweetness. And oh yes! I add some of the coconut too. That makes them crispier. They taste fine to me because it's like having a cookie again! I was a total cookie monster before. I add an egg into the mix too. I bake them long enough so they will be crispier and not soft.
I have found a few recipes online in the Gluten Free area. Then I look for Sugar-Free and Yeast free recipes. There is quite a few out there.
I finally ordered a book that Doug Kaufmann wrote called, "The Germ That Causes Cancer". I will read that and then pass it on to my family to read.
I also ordered "Food Inc". Oprah had a guy on her show the other day and there was a special that you could get through Amazon.com. I also can watch it from Amazon right away but I haven't yet. I'll wait for the DVD to come. That should be very interesting.
It's still very cold this morning but going to warm up to 22 degrees by 5 pm. I am not going out though. I don't need anything. The sun is shining so maybe that will help warm it up a bit faster later today. I don't mind when it's around 30 degrees but I don't like it below zero and in the teens.
My Cockatiel, Ricky, is driving me nuts today. Some days he is fine and other days he seems to want my attention all day long and is such a pain. He screeches constantly. Right now he's on the back of this computer chair and quiet. As soon as I get up to go into the other room he will start screeching. he thinks he can control me I guess. Ha! Ha!
That's all for now. Have a nice day everyone. :)

My sister, Jane's tests didn't really show anything. Now she has to have a Cat Scan of her lungs. She said when she got done with the pulmonary breathing test she could feel a slight burning sensation in her left lung. Now she will have to wait for another two weeks before she can get a CT Scan.
Haven't heard anything from my nephew, Rick, about his problem.
My brother, Steve's, cat died today. Jane had just taken him to the Vets on Wednesday. They took a blood sample and today he got the results but it was after the cat had died. The cat had a large lump on it's throat which turned out to be a fast growing cancer.
I'm still doing my baking soda enemas and eating an anti-fungus diet. feeling good, even though I can still feel a little pressure. But it's nothing compared to before. I am not taking any laxatives now either. The flax seeds and coconut and pecans and veggies are doing a good enough job. At least everything seems to be moving through normally now. I am on the toilet quite a few times a day though.
I'm going to add this Anti-Fungus diet information. I never had any yeast infections or problems with fungus but after reading about all that stuff I guess most all of us have it in our systems.
This is called The Yeast Infection Diet.
Green apples, berries, avocados, grapefruit, lemons, limes. Avocado is also a very good source of good fat.
# NO Breaded Meats...All others ok .
# NO Egg substitutes...Eggs themselves are ok...organic is best since they contain the correct omega fatty acids ratio...with fertile if you can find them being the ideal.
# NO Margarine and butter substitutes.
# On the yeast infection diet, low-fat yogurt (especially made from goats or organic), cream cheese, sour cream made from real cream, unsweetened whipping cream, and butter are all ok.
# NO Potatoes and legumes on the yeast infection diet for the first two weeks. After two weeks sweet potatoes may be eaten in moderation if they do not cause a problem for you.
# Fresh vegetables and freshly made vegetable juice ok.
# NO Coffee or tea (regular or decaf), NO Diet or regular sodas, Organic coffee or tea if you must in moderation.
# Bottled and reverse osmosis filtered water; distilled water is the best for removing toxins but should only be half of the water you drink, herb teas, fresh lemonade or lime-ade ok.
# On the yeast infection diet NO Grains are allowed...this includes pasta, rice, corn, wheat, millet, quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat, oats, and barley.
After two weeks you can eat quinoa, amaranth, millet and buckwheat in moderation.
# Absolutely NO Yeasts allowed...this includes bread, mushrooms, pastries and alcohol, hydrolyzed yeasts...Read your labels.
# NO Pickles, salad dressings, green olives or soy sauce...
Salad dressings made of olive oil, Braggs apple cider vinegar, water, and lemon juice are ok.
# Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar and black olives not aged in vinegar are ok.
# NO Partially hydrogenated oils including corn and peanuts.
# Coconut oil , olive, grape seed, and flax seed oils in a cold pressed formula when available are ok.
# NO Peanuts on the yeast infection diet and all peanut products and pistachio nuts. Cashews are a legume so I would avoid those too.
Raw nuts including pecans, almonds, walnuts and pumpkin seeds are ok.
# NO VINEGARS These include ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, pickles, pickled peppers, hot sauce, salad dressings, green olives, horseradish, dips, mayonnaise.
# It is best to avoid tuna, swordfish, shark, and shellfish because of high mercury content.
You are probably thinking, wow, what am I going to eat on this candida diet?? I thought the same thing until I really checked it out. So here is a list of Good foods although not complete.
The Candida Diet and Good Vegetables
Good candida yeast diet vegetables are alfalfa sprouts, asparagus, bell peppers, brussel sprouts, all the cabbages are good for the candida diet including broccoli. Carrots are a very controversial food on the candida diet, I have seen one yeast infection diet say yes and the next say no. Now they are a simple sugar when digested, but they are also an antifungal and keep the yeast infection from spreading. I just had to go on what the Mycologists said on this one, which is to eat them, raw. If you cook carrots it raises the glycemic index to double that of a raw carrot.
Other good candida yeast diet vegetables are celery, dandelion greens, eggplant, fennel, garlic, kelp, all the lettuces, onion, pumpkin, kale, spinach, and all summer squashes. Tomatoes, turnip greens, watercress, aloe vera, rhubarb, and yucca.
The Candida Diet and Meats
Good meats for the candida yeast diet are beef, liver, sausage, buffalo, goat, lamb, pork, poultry and all other fowl both wild and domestic.
Good candida yeast diet seafood’s are shrimp, octopus, snail, squid, anchovy, cod, halibut, flounder, Mahi-Mahi, red snapper, and wild salmon. Fresh water fish include catfish, caviar, crappie, pickerel, sturgeon, perch, white fish, bass, and all trout species are good on the candida diet.
I recommend grass fed or organic meats with no antibiotic exposure from grains or injections, seafood, wild fish-not farm raised, wild meats, goat, lamb, and organic free range poultry .
Bologna, frankfurters, sausage, and salami can be eaten occasionally, read the labels looking for the addition of starches and sugars. Pork is not recommended because it is usually irradiated, but occasionally it won't kill you! Even I eat bacon and eggs on the weekends.
Most herbs are also ok, and be sure to use natural salt. I also should let you know that most fish these days are contaminated with mercury. Substitute with goat, lamb, poultry, or sardines since they are high in omega fatty acids if able on this diet, or eat mercury free wild fish.
Natural peppermint teas will also be very soothing on your digestive system while on the candida yeast diet since it helps manage yeast die off, as well as nausea, abdominal fullness, or pain. Try to drink four 8-ounce glasses of distilled water a day, and 4 glasses of bottled or spring water to keep the body flushed of toxins.
As you can see there is actually quite a lot you can eat. There is no reason to go hungry since you can eat all you want of these foods and not only kill the yeast infection, but the excess weight, if you have any, will flat disappear. I lost 25 pounds in two months, didn't even try, and never went hungry.
Candida Diet Breakfast Ideas
Good candida yeast diet foods for breakfast are eggs cooked any style with bacon on occasion, ham, steak, or chicken (Not breaded). Grapefruit and vegetable juices are good, especially fresh carrot juice with a clove of garlic. A person could get tired of eating eggs I must admit on the yeast diet so just treat breakfast as any other meal. Have chicken salad, raw nuts or yogurt, just use a little imagination. A few times a week you could have a bowel of all bran cereal with almond milk if it does not cause a problem for you.
Candida Diet Lunch Ideas
For lunch have chicken salad or chicken, fish, beef patties with a vegetable basted in butter. Don't worry about fats on the anti-yeast diet since you need them for energy production for the body. That is how the body was originally designed to get its energy from. The body was never designed to use sugar from processed grains for fuel and this is what makes most people fat as well as feed candida and yeast.
Candida Diet Dinner Ideas
Just about anything goes on the candida diet for dinner as long as it is an allowed food. Steak, fish, poultry, wild game, and pork are all ok as the main dish. Raw or lightly steamed vegetables are the best, not over done, but still crisp so you don't kill all the available enzymes in these foods. Herbal teas or water are ok to drink.
After two weeks you can add yams, legumes meaning beans and peas. Oats can be added along with brown rice, basmati rice, oatmeal, quinoa, amaranth, millet, buckwheat, barley, flour tortillas, and sour dough bread in moderation on the candida diet.
Haven't heard anything from my nephew, Rick, about his problem.

January 26, 2010
My brother, Steve, stopped by today and brought me a couple books. One was written by a doctor from the late 1800's and it's all about cancer. It's very interesting. This doctor did not believe in having any surgery for cancer because it would always come back. They didn't have Chemo back then. He says all cancers are systemic, which I have read recently also. That means you can't cut out a cancer because it started from within. He believes in treating the blood of a person by eating right and using special herbs etc. I'm just starting this book. I might add a few excerpts as I go along. Steve also brought along a DVD set with Louise L. Hay. "You Can Heal Your Life" Not sure what that is about. I have heard of her. I think she's the one that cured her breast cancer years ago. I'll let you know how that is later on. I'll be reading this book first.
I am feeling quite well these days. Although I still have to run to the bathroom a lot in the mornings. I'm eating lots of nuts. Pecans that I have to crack myself and Flax seeds and raw organic coconut. Good roughage..Ha! I made these little balls out of Flax seed meal and Almond Meal Flour and butter. I used a little Stevia for sweetener and some coconut. All this stuff is organic, even the butter. I'm trying to gain some weight. I weigh 128 lbs. right now.
My nephew, Rick, says he's feeling a lot better. He's on antibiotics and that's all he's taking at the moment. Hopefully his problem isn't cancer.
Won't have anything to report on Jane till after she sees the specialist this Friday.
Our snow melted a lot over the weekend and we had some flooding in nearby areas from all the rain. Today it was cooler and there were some snowflakes coming down but not enough. It's all staying to the North. I can't see my foxes at night now with no snow for a backdrop. But winter has a long way to go yet. I'm sure we will be getting more soon. I'd rather see snow than rain. Makes for prettier pictures!
That's all for now. Take care everyone. Stay healthy.

January 20, 2010-Jane And Rick
This is what Ricky told me today about his problem. I told him to get on Probiotics quick because antibiotics kill all the good bacteria too. He has no insurance. I told him to get his "ass" to SS for medicaid so he can get a Colonoscopy.
"The pain has dramatically decreased (when I poop) but, not enough that I want to start putting food through there. I can still feel mild discomfort in general. I'm going to stick with my fast for awhile. Did I tell you I have some "deadly" bacteria in my intestines? I'm going to stay on my liquid diet while I'm on these anti-biotics (2 wks.)."
As far as Jane goes, she has an appointment next Friday to see a specialist about her coughing up blood. They will be checking her lungs. Won't know anything else till after that.
And you knew that our brother Rich broke his knee cap. He's on crutches right now with a cast up to his thigh. Ann says it's not healing like the doctor would like it to. Has to be out of work for another six weeks at least.
We are all getting older and learn too late what we should have been doing to keep our bodies in shape .
I'm doing a lot better. Still doing the baking soda enemas and eating quite well on this anti fungus diet. I am not sure if it will help but it's just one day at a time and at least I am not worrying about having any surgeries in the future. What happens, happens. If this has spread I won't know till it starts killing me. But that is the way I want to go.
So that is all I know for now.
Rick said at Christmas time that he's had a problem for two years and knew something was wrong.
I'll let you all know more as I hear anything. Till then, too-da-loo for now..

January 19, 2010-Tuesday
I really haven't had much to write lately. I'm still feeling pretty good and have lots of energy! I'm cleaning closets and drawers and trying to get rid of a few things. Even selling stuff on Craig's List. I came across a bag of bras that I was going to throw out last year. They were way too small. I wore them years ago when I lost weight. Now they fit me perfect! I also found a couple pair of jeans that were way too small and now they aren't. I was sure happy I hadn't thrown them out. Saves me money. My nice leather coat that I've had for 30 years and just wouldn't part with fits me real nice now too! Not sure if I'll ever wear it though. I'm happy that these things fit me again but it's a hell of a way to lose weight. I've gone from 165 lbs. down to 125 right now. I should have been this weight all my life instead of letting sugar control me...but I loved baked stuff and chocolates..Ha! Still would like to eat that stuff but have had to retrain myself not to. Oh, I could still bake things if I wanted, as long as I don't use sugar or anything that is fungus related. I have found some good recipes online. Just haven't tried them yet.
I have some disturbing news to tell my family. My nephew, Rick, is having the same problems as I have had. He can't go to the bathroom and went to the emergency room the other day and will now have to have tests done to see if it's a tumor in his rectum. He called me the other day to ask what I was doing. He's going to do the Baking Soda thing but he still needs to get the tests to know how bad it is. He says he's had problems for the past two years. Just never mentioned it to anyone. He's 40 years old and my sister, Jeanne's son.
Then my sister, Jane, calls me and tells me that she's been coughing up blood. Her doctor thinks it's her lungs. She hasn't had any bleeding since last Thursday now but she still has to get a Cat Scan done to see what the problem is. That is not good. I sure hope it isn't serious.
I will try to keep you all informed on Rick and Jane as I hear anything.

I'm still feeling pretty good! Yesterday I went out shopping. Stopped at three places and was gone for three hours and felt great all day. It was a beautiful day! The sun was shining and it was in the low 30's. I'm glad I went because today was gloomy and rainy and windy. I found a lot of organic foods that I can eat. Got more raw almond butter and organic coconut. The coconut kills fungus. I never knew that! I bought coconut oil to cook with also. Besides my Extra Virgin olive Oil. I don't cook much with that though but I pour it on everything. It's good for my Gall Bladder. I don't want any more attacks like I had in September. Did you know that to flush stones from a Gall Bladder you have to drink olive oil?? Yep! But I've never done the flush. Since it hasn't bothered me since I figure I must be doing something right. I will try the coconut oil when I cook my chicken. I bought organic chicken. I can eat that stuff on the fungus diet. But I won't eat very much of it. I like salmon the best. And it has to be mercury free wild salmon. Farm raised salmon is not good for you.
I also found these awesome crackers! made by a company called Mary's gone crackers. LOL
Cute, catchy name. She started her company after making her own products because of celiac disease. Her web site is marysgonecrackers.com. in case you are interested in what I bought and the ingredients. Everything in them is okay for me to eat. Yea!!
They are very expensive so I won't be hogging too many at once..ha!
I've got all my natural soaps now too. I ordered them from Vermont Soaps.
My body is ridding itself of toxins. I used to use underarm deodorant that had aluminum in it because I used to sweat a lot years back. I quit using that and sometimes I will get to itching like crazy like I'm allergic to my own sweat, even though I don't feel any but I guess we are always eliminating body fluids under the arms, even if we don't know it. Years ago I could not keep my clothes dry without using those pads. It was very embarrassing. So I started using Certain Dry. That was the only thing that ever stopped it. Haven't used it in a couple years though but still used an anti perspirant. From what I've read, it takes a few weeks for your body to get rid of those toxins before you stop itching. I find everything on the web..Ha! Ha! It's amazing! I use baking soda mixed in water or alcohol for now.
When I am lying on my back in bed I feel my stomach a lot to see if there are any odd bumps. I always feel these large lumps and they are sort of hard. Not sure if it's just my organs or my intestines. I haven't been this thin since I was younger so never felt all that stuff before. Ha! Nothing hurts so I am not worried about it yet. I wonder if any of you can feel all your internal organs like that?? If so, let me know. I'm curious.
My sister, Jane, called me today and she had to go to the emergency room Wednesday because she's been coughing up blood. She will be having a Cat Scan soon. Her doctor seems to think it's from her lungs.I'll let you know when I hear anything else from her. That is scary.
I better stop writing. Good night.

Good night.

January 13, 2010
Everything is going along fine. I'm feeling good and doing my daily care routine that I have to do.
It's been so cold here. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit warmer. I'm glad because I want to go out and get my groceries and other supplies. Then I won't have to go out for another week or more. I hate going out in the winter. Sometimes I wouldn't go out for two weeks at a time in the past. And I always wait for a warm up so it's easier to clean the car off. I can't breathe too well in the real cold air.
I'm seeing the deer every night now. That younger one is very brave. He comes right down by my windows. Tonight he was looking in my bedroom window because he knew I was there but I was trying not to let him see me. If he got spooked he might hurt himself. He eventually wandered towards the front and that's when I scared him on purpose so he'd go home. The other ones had already gone long before him.
One of the foxes was out there tonight also. I didn't see my crippled one though. If it warms up maybe I will. I just like to know that he's okay.
It's past 9:30. Time for me to go to bed. Take care everyone.

January 10, 2010-Nice day

I'm still feeling very good! The Grandchildren came to visit me today. It's always great to see them. Here are a couple photos. My daughter, me and the girls in one and the Grandkids and I in the other. The girls are wearing the shirts I made for them. My Grandson's was not big enough so I will make him another one.
It was still very cold here but the sun was shining so that helped.

Kill The Fungus
The Anti-Fungal Program
FUNGUS: A simple plant that lacks chlorophyl. Fungi include yeasts, rust, molds, and mushrooms. They
live as either saprophytes or parasites of plants and animals (man). Some species infect and cause
disease in man. - The Bantam Medical Dictionary.
· #1 Starve The Fungi
· #2 Move Your Bowels
· #3 Repair the Damage
· #4 Kill the Fungus
· #5 Replace the Good Bacteria
· #6 Exercise!
· #7 Herxheimer Reaction
#1 Starve The Fungi
Starve the fungi with Doug Kaufmann's Phase One Diet (Initial Phase).
Sugar fuels the growth pattern for fungi. The Phase One diet is a low carbohydrate diet that
dramatically cuts back on sugar that feeds fungi. Although carbohydrates are known to be fuel
for the body, this is true only in a non-toxic individual. In a fungally-toxic individual it actually
suppresses energy.
The Phase One diet is also very low in mold/fungi infected foods and high in foods, such as
vegetables which are known to carry out mycotoxins and inhibit their toxicity.
The Phase One diet is found in its entirety in any of Doug Kaufmann's books.
#2 Move Your Bowels
As fungi is killed inside your body, it is imperative that you move it out, and quickly. Doug
Kaufmann recommends a good source of fiber to carry out colon waste. Both are excellent
choices:
· Psyllium Hulls or
· Slippery Elm
Whichever method you choose, it is imperative that you replace the healthy bacteria found in the
colon that is lost through the process of cleansing the colon with a good probiotic.
· Lactobacillus acidophilus
It is not recommended that you take cascara sagrada for the purpose of this antifungal program.
If constipation is a chronic problem for you, consider that a magnesium deficiency can be a
cause of this.
#3 Repair the Damage
Repairing the oxidative damage is critical. Using a powerful free radical scavenger such as:
· Pycnogenol,
· Grape Seed Extract,
· Vitamin C.
#4 Kill the Fungus
Fungi can be killed with pharmaceutical drugs or natural remedies. Both work very well. Drugs
such as Nystatin, Lamisil, Nizoral, Diflucan, or Sporanax may work a little faster than natural
choices, however, I recommend natural remedies. Your choice may depend on the severity of
the fungal infection and whether or not your doctor will cooperate in prescribing one of these
antifungals.
Natural Anti-Fungals:
· Olive Leaf Extract
· P-73 Oregano
· Capryillic Acid
· Pau d'Arco
· Apple Cider Vinegar (Malic Acid)
· Garlic - neutralizes virus and bacteria
· Carrot juice - inhibits fungal proliferation
#5 Replace the Good Bacteria
It is imperative to replace the good bacteria in your intestines and then stay away from those
things that disrupt the balance, such as antibiotics and other immune suppressants.
· Lactobacillus acidophilus
(Work with your doctor here, there are times where an antibiotic is the best choice but this is
most likely a rare event. I am in no way indicating that one should never take an antibiotic or that
this program is a substitute for necessary medical care).
#6 Exercise!
Exercise is critical in the prevention and treatment of chronic fungal disease. Exercise has an
overwhelming positive impact on our health. Your commitment includes exercise. Choose an
exercise appropriate for you.
· Walking should not be underestimated as an appropriate exercise for anyone. It gets you
moving and pumps the lymph system, and gets you breathing!
# 7 Herxheimer Reaction
As yeast and fungi, etc. are starved, you may experience what is known as “Herxheimer’s
reaction”. It was Dr. Carl Herxheimer, a German dermatologist, who first described the body’s
reaction to the massive killing of microorganisms. This massive killing results in a sudden load of
toxins that is released into the blood stream. It is also known as “die-off”. The characteristics of
this reaction can be flu-like such as aches, pains, nausea, headache, chills, a low grade fever,
drop in blood pressure, hives or rash. One may even experience a temporary worsening of
current symptoms when starting the Phase One diet. This is good news! It means you are on
the right track. It is an indication that the Phase One diet is starving the fungi. Remember, our
bodies want to be well and will do all it can to get well. Give it the right opportunity and you will
see how magnificent your body is!
This healing crisis is a natural reaction and is very individualistic. It can be mild to severe. If it is
overwhelming, consider adding some foods that are on the Phase Two diet for a meal or two,
such as brown rice, or sweet potatoes, and of course making sure you have plenty of pure water.

Anti Fungus Diet Info-Doug Kaufmann-Phase One
This is the other diet I'm following now. Thought some of you might be interested.
The Doug Kaufmann Phase One Diet calls for eliminating sugar, grains, bread, pistachios and peanuts from your eating plan. Kaufmann's theory is that these foods feed fungus living in your body. Eliminating them will starve the fungus because the fungus needs sugars derived from carbohydrates to thrive. In the human-fungal relationship, according to the theory, people always lose out, and a person infected with fungus actually craves foods that satisfy the fungus rather than the person.
Who is Doug Kaufmann?
Doug Kaufmann is the star of the show "Know the Cause," shown on DirecTV and DISH channels. His theories are purported to be based on both science and religion.
Don't Feed the Fungus
The Phase One Diet focuses on foods that will not feed the fungus in your body. These include eggs, nuts minus pistachios and peanuts, green apples, grapefruit, berries, lemons, limes, avocados, vegetables except for mushrooms, corn and potatoes, plain yogurt, butter, carrot juice, water and herbal teas. Stevia is allowed as a sweetener.
Organic Meat
In the diet, people eat meat that is not contaminated with antibiotics. Dieters avoid farm-raised fish in favor of wild-caught fish, eat free-range chicken and choose grass-fed beef.
What to Avoid
Dieters will also avoid simple sugars including white sugar, sucrose, glucose, fructose, honey, molasses, maltose, corn syrup and most especially high-fructose corn syrup. Dieters also eliminate all grains, all yeast, mushrooms, legumes, potatoes, trans fat, and corn and peanut oils. Coffee, non-herbal teas and diet soda are banned.
Lasts Two Weeks
Kaufmann recommends following this phase-one diet for two weeks to starve any fungus in the body. People can then opt to move on to a more relaxed second phase diet, but people who have the willpower to remain on a strict, low-carb eating plan can stick with phase one indefinitely.
Low Carb Diets
This diet is similar to other low-carb eating plans. Cornerstones of such diets include focusing on good fats and low-glycemic index fruits and vegetables. Good fats include canola and olive oils as well as flax seeds, fish, macadamias, sesames, pumpkin seeds, avocados walnuts and their oils. Buy oils with labels that read "organic" and "100 percent expeller-pressed." Low glycemic fruits include apples, cherries and grapefruit. Most vegetables have a low glycemic index, but potatoes are on the higher end.
Why a Phase One Diet?
It is very well documented that fungi are parasites of man. They should not be inside the human body, but they have several portals of entry, including the skin, the lungs and even the food we eat! Certain fungi make a poisonous substance known as a “mycotoxin.” Mycotoxins are involved in human diseases, including but not limited to liver cancer. Avoidance is imperative, but once mycotoxin producing fungi are inside the human body, your doctor may offer a two fold approach to eliminating them; killing them with prescriptive or natural antifungals and starving them, but cutting off their primary food supply. Fungi, like many people, crave carbohydrates! That may be why so many people manifest with so many symptoms and diseases, yet doctors cannot accurately diagnose them. A fungal disease may be diagnosed as chronic sinusitis or high cholesterol, yet few physicians understand the fungus link to those health problems. Prescriptive medications control them, but never address the cause. Know that fungi must have carbohydrates in order to thrive inside your body, makes the Phase One Diet much easier to understand. Perhaps starving fungus would reverse the symptoms that contribute to so many health problems we Americans suffer from!
What foods are allowed on the Phase One Diet?
I vividly recall my early days on the then nameless, “horrible, rotten, restrictive diet.” Even though expert nutritionists cautioned me about eating the “too fattening” avocado and “cholesterol raising” eggs, I had learned that fungus disliked these foods and at the time, I just wanted to control this overgrowth of fungus that I thought I had. If these experts were correct, heck I could always run off my avocado induced weight and find an antidote for high cholesterol! Of course, 35 years later, we know that avocados and eggs are absolutely fine to eat in most instances. Many people on this diet find that their health elevates to a level where both they and their doctors are amazed at how good they feel! This can either be chalked up to food hypersensitivity or starving of the fungus that was responsible for the symptoms in the first place. Either way, many are living better because of this breakthrough approach to eating. In 2005, I wrote a recipe book entitled Eating Your Way to Good Health, that included recipes developed through the years that made this diet easier to follow. The book has been yet another hit because it enabled those who chose to make this diet more permanent a feast instead of a chore! I have learned that some people simply cannot afford the books with the diet in them and for this reason I have decided to simply publish the foods that are OK to eat on this diet in an effort to help everyone coming to our website:
EGGS
FRUIT, berries, grapefruit, lemon, lime, green apples, avocado, fresh coconut
MEATS, virtually all meat including fish, poultry and beef
VEGETABLES, Most fresh, unblemished vegetables and freshly made vegetable juice
BEVERAGES, bottled or filtered water, non-fruity herbal teas, stevia sweetened fresh lemonade or limeade, freshly squeezed carrot juice (see below)
VINEGAR, apple cider vinegar
OILS, olive, grape, flax seed, cold pressed virgin coconut oil
NUTS, raw nuts, including pecans, almonds, walnuts, cashews, and pumpkin seeds. Stored nuts tend to gather mold, so be careful!
SWEETENERS, Stevia, Stevia Plus, birch tree extracted Xylitol
DAIRY, Organic Butter, Organic Yogurt, (use the following very sparingly) cream cheese, unsweetened whipping cream, real sour cream.
Will I be on this diet forever?
It’s frightening when you look at the Phase One Diet at first. One consolation is that I lived this myself for years! I wouldn’t recommend it if I haven’t done it and experienced that amazing results myself! The answer to the question regarding “forever” is “no…unless you want or need to.” Usually, after the first two weeks, and depending on your progress and how closely you follow the program, we will begin adding foods back to your diet- i.e. a “Phase II” diet.
Remember, though, that to truly alter disease and improve your life permanently, it will take a lifestyle change, not just a 2-week program. Some people continue to follow a variation of the Phase One Diet indefinitely simply because they feel best eating that way. True health is not just a diet, a commitment to quit smoking or taking a pill. Rather lifestyle changes including diet and exercise may fulfill your quest for true health.
Won’t eating eggs, nuts and meat raise my cholesterol?
It’s a good question and one that I asked myself 35 years ago. As you have read, dietary rules have softened as common sense hardens. As a matter of fact, in my experience, cholesterol and triglycerides actually improve on this sort of diet. Over and over I have seen this, and, recently, studies have come out showing that eggs do not necessarily raise cholesterol after all, and eating nuts (not peanuts) can even decrease your risk of heart disease by up to 50%. Everybody is unique, but overall this diet is has repeatedly been shown to improve not only blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, but also disease symptoms in general. The public has been scared away from fats, and too often remove the beneficial fats from our diets. The only people that should be concerned with excessive cholesterol are those that have a genetic condition where the body cannot handle excessive cholesterol-probably less than 1% of the population.

January 6, 2010-Wednesday
I can't believe the energy I have now!! I am feeling so much better! I even went out and cleaned six inches of snow off my car that's been sitting there since the first of the month. And shoveled around my car and salted. Felt good to be out there, even though my face froze and my fingers started to get real cold. But at least I got it done. Now I can go out tomorrow, maybe, and get a few things. The temperature is supposed to drop by Friday and Saturday. It was about 20 degrees today. Not going to warm up till next week I guess.
Just want to tell you all how good I am feeling. Sure hope it stays this way and continues to get even better.
Hugs!!

January 3, 2010 Just a note
I have to tell you all that I am actually feeling a lot better. I have been doing the baking soda enemas every evening and I really think they are helping. I also drink a teaspoon of it in water every day also. I'm supposed to drink 2 teaspoons but I'm taking it slow to see if I retain water or not. So far I don't.
I really don't have that aching any more in my butt and no pain lately!! I'm going to the bathroom a lot better too. I sure am glad I went back on my own diet. I drink my Green powder every morning then I have two scrambled eggs with real butter. I have always used real butter though. Never that margarine stuff. I steam Broccoli and celery and carrots and green onions and make a soup out of it. I baked some Butternut squash and added that to the mix too. I like it. I'm eating Avacados again. I'm taking Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, Vitamin D-3, Vit. C, Garlic capsules, Tumeric capsules and I make sure I use the extra virgin olive oil on everything.
I ordered Oil of Oregano and more Green Powder. The Oil of Oregano is to keep Fungus out of the body. I've never used it before and I read that it tastes bad but I will do anything to get this body the way it has to be. I will be experimenting with all sorts of stuff and foods probably before I get it down to where I know what I can tolerate. But I am mostly sticking to an Anti Fungus diet now and the Alkaline. But I can eat more protein on the fungus diet. Some of the Fungal diets say not to eat eggs because they have fungus. But you have to eat them right away. can't boil them and have them sitting in the Frig for a few days. I am amazed what has fungus in them. Absolutely no sugar or flour products. They are the worst. No more Pasta products. I never ate them much anyway. Lots of fruits have fungus. I have to learn all this yet. Some stuff that I could eat on the alkalizing diet I can't eat on this anti fungal diet so it's a whole new learning process for me. Very interesting and makes sense to me.
So that is what is going on so far. But I am happy that I'm feeling so much better!!! It's amazing!
Be back soon when I have more updates.
Stay healthy!!
