My knees have been bothering me the past few days. The left one was hurting too much so I couldn't get out to the store. Nina went for me yesterday. I watched Jessi for a few hours so she could go shopping for me. She said the stores were packed. After she left here she was taking Jessi to Utica to get some new clothes. Jessi was all excited about that..
My niece, Alysha is pregnant. I am shocked because she's the one who never liked kids very much and said she'd never have any. But now she's all excited. Sure hope it works out with she and her boyfriend and hope they stay together and have a happy life. She says she's ten weeks along. So that makes it about October that she will have it. She seems real happy. She moved into town, close to her job there in NH.
The weather is finally cooling down. It was cool and damp today and we might get some frost. Hope it doesn't kill the baby leaves on the trees. I can't believe how much the trees have sprouted already. Such a weird winter. And that 80 degree weather was way too warm for this time of year.
The other night at 10:30 I heard one of the foxes in distress out in back. I opened the window to hear him better. Someone was shining a light into the woods out there. Must have been someone upstairs. I could smell cigarettes. Yuck! I hate those things. Too many people smoke in this building now. I didn't hear another animal so not sure if it was getting attacked or not. It might have been sprayed in the eyes by a skunk. Poor thing. I have been trying to catch them at night again but no luck. I'm hoping I see two of them soon so I know they are okay. There is a skunk around every night now. Haven't smelled any yet, thank heavens. Everyone around here always blames me when they smell one.
A woman that used to live here, who had a beautiful Sheltie dog left a note to me today on Facebook, to tell me her dog died. I felt so bad for her. I made her a special photo with her Cinderella in it with the Rainbow Bridge poem on it. She was a beautiful dog. Sandy doesn't really know why she died. But she said that the dog wasn't her usual self this past week and wouldn't eat much. She took her to the Vet yesterday. The Vet wanted her to leave the dog overnight so they could give it x-rays in the morning but Sandy didn't want to leave her alone like that. good thing because Cinderella passed away right in Sandy's bed. She said the dog was looking at her for the longest time and then just turned her head and died in her arms.. How sad.
March is just about over. I am looking forward to another Spring. Just hope I can continue to get around.
Well. I have to go now. Take care everyone.

I don't like the smell of smoke, either. I think it is amazing that in spite of your disability you take time to enjoy nature and share your talent with others. I appreciate your photos, thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks so much Wren. I promise to get to your blog very soon.
