March 15, 2012-Got Out Last Night

It's been beautiful here for the past few days. I've been able to get pictures of Jupiter and Venus in the early evenings. We had thunderstorms here today. Loved that! Then the sky cleared up for the evening. I can't believe how warm it's going to be in the next week. By next Sunday it might even hit 80!! That's a bit too warm for me. Ha! I'm not ready to drag out the air conditioner yet.
I am hurting today. I went out last evening to get groceries and my foot hurt so bad that I thought I'd have to get in one of those carts. But I got through it. I think it was because I positioned the lifts in that left shoe wrong. I could feel the bone in that leg snap every time I took a step.I was so glad to get home and get my shoes off and back into my slippers. I had to take another Ibuprofen before I went to bed. It helped.
My back is bothering me this week. In the lung area on the right side. I think that is from when I fell. It's still healing. The growth in my groin, next to my hip bone hurts now and then but not to where it is keeping me from doing anything. I think it's a hernia.
A girl I went to school with lost her husband to cancer. She's been keeping everyone up on him through Facebook. He just went to his benefit on Saturday and had a good time and got to say goodbye to all his friends and family. He's been on Morphine and Hospice was watching over him. I'm surprised he got out. So sad.
I didn't watch the girls this week. Nina had the week off. And she said the girls are going to the baby sitter's tomorrow. I'm not sure why. Maybe they don't have school. They usually just go home after school and wait for Nina. She gets home around the same time.
My cousin and Aunt are going to stop over tomorrow for a visit. I'll be feeling better by then. It always takes me a day to recuperate after going out to get groceries.
Nothing much else happening. I hope it's a nice weekend for the St. Patrick's Day parades around this area. Not that I care but I like to see it nice for others.
So that's it for now. Take care everyone.
