September 23, 2011-Lagging Behind

The past few days have been uneventful really. Been staying in. I did go out on Wed. night to get some groceries. Nothing much going on. My legs and foot aren't feeling that great so trying to stay off them as much as I can. Having arm and shoulder pain more too. Not sure why. Could be just from doing different things around here. Just pushing myself up from chairs all the time makes them hurt more. Maybe those muscles are just getting worn out also. Otherwise I'm feeling okay. No pains that are that noticable in my liver area yet. Minor ones now and then.

I got that moth larvae problem under control. Haven't seen any in a few days now. I did call Agway to tell them about the bag that was full of them critters. Nothing much they can do either since it came from the factory that way. I used all the nuts that were in the bag though. Put them in air tight comtainers. The larvae would crawl up onto the screw top lid and I'd just kill them. Some got thrown out with the nuts of course. I opened another bag but that has a different code date and there's nothing in that one. But the one that I was worried about is still in the trunk of my car and the mice have gotten into it. So maybe I will open that trunk and see moths flying around..LOL I will get moth traps next time I go to Agway. I'll put one in my closet here and one in the trunk just in case. I won't be bringing that bag inside though. I will take my containers out and fill them as needed.
The benefit for Mark Hoover, my cousin's husband, is coming up on October 1st. I don't think I'll be going though. It's too hard to walk around with my crutches and with all the people I'd be afraid I'd get bumped into. And they usually have those folding chairs at those things that I can't get up off of. Then there's the parking. I'd never get close enough. I just can't do it any more. If I had a wheelchair to use it would be much easier but I don't.
Mark has stage four lung cancer now. He was in remission for his throat or esophagus cancer and I guess it spread to his lungs. That's bad. It's probably elsewhere in his body also. It doesn't sound good for him. Poor guy. He's doing the Chemo. I'm not sure if he's still taking the treatments or not. I will have to ask one of my cousins.
It's a bit damp today. Raining on and off.
I saw the deer the other night. They were all right outside where I could see them good. The mom and her two fawns. Of course the fawns are growing up now and most of their spots are gone. They hung around the area for about an hour. It was fun watching them.
I saw three of the fox pups the other day also. Glad to know they are still alive and well. Not sure about the fourth one or the parents. I never see any of the adults any more.
Some guys are working on the roof today so no animals are around.
So that's all for now. Not sure when I'll get back here. Got to upload some of the deer videos to my Youtube sight today.
Take care everyone. Have a nice weekend.
