It was only 36 degrees this morning and frost warnings for tonight. Yesterday it only got up to 59 degrees but I like the cooler weather. I went out last evening to get more critter food and some groceries. The air was so nice and fresh. Seemed nice to breathe it in. After all the rain yesterday morning it cleared up nice for the afternoon and the sun came out.
I could still see the moon in the sky this morning. And the sun was hitting the tops of the trees as it was coming up through the woods. I love this weather. Fall is my favorite time of the year.
I'm trying to get my Alexander-Jones Book redone so it's larger. I didn't have the high res photos when I first made it because all the pages were made in Scrapblog back then and they would only let you download a low res copy of it. But when they sold their company they let us have out high res pages for free. I'm making an 8x10 hard cover book this time in Blurb.com. My brother wanted to buy a copy of the smaller one. I told him to wait till I make the larger one. It will be much nicer and clearer. So that's what I'm doing today off an on. I have to stop every half hour and get up and go sit in the living room. I start getting too sore at the computer.
I've still got to finish my slide show from Rich's party. That takes some time to finish also. But I already had a book made for Rich with all the pictures from that day. It's only a soft cover 5x7 but I got a good deal on it.
It's only in the 50's today also and there's a breeze. I haven't seen a fox yet today. No deer either. The woodchuck did come yesterday though. he's getting much fatter now. I'm glad. I was worried about him.
My turtle doesn't seem to be feeling well. She does eat though and eats a lot and poops a lot. But one of her hind legs is not moving and she's real slow. Something happened after she laid all those eggs last week. Either she has more stuck inside or she got nerve damage from laying the eggs. I'm keeping an eye on her more. She can't climb up on her log and she doesn't want to get out like she always did. She was quite active last week before she laid those eggs. Darn it. I feel so bad for her. Her eyes are bright though so far. She seems very touchy. When I change the water I can't pour any over her or wash her shell like I always have. She's jumps like she's sore. So I have to be real gentle with her. She does let me pet her nose and under her chin like I always do. She likes that. There's not any reptile vets in this area. Only one place in Utica. I really can't afford a vet but if I think she can be helped I will get her there somehow. Poor thing.
Well. I have to get going. Have a nice day everyone and a nice weekend.
