Jane called me from Myrtle Beach yesterday to fill me in on things. She flew back on Saturday. Jim and Patty drove back that day also and so did Steve and his girlfriend. She said there were a lot of people at the service on Friday morning. Faith was staying till today. Not sure what Alysha plans to do yet. At least her friend lives there with her also, so she has company..That's all I'm saying about this for now.
It was a rainy, damp, gloomy day today. Got up to about 50. It's going to be warming up a lot this week. I went out at 6:30. Had to get some critter food. I'm ticked off. They never got an order in so they don't have my bags of nuts and seeds. I had to buy another kind which I don't like. It has corn pieces in it and that stuff never gets eaten. I sure hope they get an order in this Thursday. Or my squirrels will be very mad at me. Ha!
I had to get a few groceries also. I did not buy any candy. I have finally made up my mind to lose some weight If I'm going to be alive I guess I better get back to healthy eating. So no more candy or cookies for me. I'll try my best. I'm sick of being this heavy. I weigh 185 lbs. I have never weighed that much in my life. Not even when I was pregnant years ago. I was up to 170 at that time. I have weighed 165 a few times though. I'll be happy to get back to that. At least maybe I'll be able to wear the tops I do have hanging in my closet.
I'm still having problems with my Ostomy flanges. I just changed it Monday morning and it had already started coming off tonight and I just had to change it again. My belly is all irritated again. It's driving me nuts. No matter what I try it doesn't work. I am also thinking of getting a wide Ostomy belt to keep it from moving. I will have to ask the pharmacy if Medicare pays for those. I'm back to using my original flanges. The other ones didn't stick any better. I did like the Cymed ones but they don't have convex flanges so it makes it very hard to keep on. And then I tried the Convatec Durahesive flange but I had to use an insert for convexity and that's a pain. It has too many grooves where all the crap can get into. And too much work to use those. This kind of problem is enough to make me cry. I get so frustrated. Especially after going for a long time with no problems.
I have to go for now. I'm not really in the writing mood.
