It's starting out cloudy this morning but it's supposed to be a nice day and much cooler and no humidity. I am so glad. I want to get out later to get some groceries.'I still have not spotted any of the baby foxes. They were out at this time last year.
Today is my baby brother, Mike's, birthday. He is 48 years old. He was born the day my mother died. He was the 11th child in our family. Seems so long ago but still remember that day so well. Mom would have been 88. I sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have her with us all these years and how she would have changed some of our lives. It would have been nice to have a mother to talk to but God had other plans and that's life. We never know what the future has in store for us. That's why we have to enjoy each day we have. It might be our last.
These baby starlings are driving me crazy. There must be 20 or 30 of them. They eat all the nuts as soon as I throw them out. The squirrels then get mad and want me to throw them more. I just can't keep up with them all. I feel like one of those "Hoarders" on TV but mine are outside critters..Ha! Ha!
It's time to eat my breakfast and get the birds uncovered and start my day. I've been up since 6:30. But that is my quiet time to do whatever I have to before I uncover my own critters and then they drive me crazy for the rest of the day.... Never a dull moment around here!. And Jasper is still sleeping in my bedroom. Have to get her water ready also. She's usually over on my foot while I'm at the computer but she's late sleeping this morning.
Have a nice day everyone.
Update:
I got out to get my groceries today. I went at noon and was back by 1:15 in time to continue watching the trial on TV. It was a beautiful day.
Jeanne called about the time I got home and she came over to visit for a while. We watched some of the trial in between chatting. She left at five.
I also received a return e-mail from my brother Mike. I had sent him one this morning to wish him a happy birthday. He and his girlfriend are heading into the mountains out there in Vermont where he lives. He loves hiking.
My oldest daughter called me also. I was surprised because she had just called last week. Sounded like she was outside calling. Maybe she was using someone's cell phone. She wouldn't say. The boys were off playing by some creek near there. I could hear them yelling to her. They are all fine anyway.
So it was a good day.
