Yesterday afternoon I was in the kitchen and happened to glance into the living room for a second and there was a deer looking right in my window! This was around 3:30. I of course could not get to my camera, which was in the living room by that window. He even left the window messy! Had his nose right on it. I missed a good photo op at that time, darn it! Ha! He saw me too quick and headed into the alley and up over the rock wall. I got my camera and went into the bedroom and took a short video clip as he was on top of the wall and looking back at me. I was so afraid he'd get his hooves caught in that fencing. It has small holes and he could really hurt himself bad. Right now the snow is deep enough but a lot has melted and a lot more will be melting all day today and tomorrow. It's going to be in the 40's and lots of rain tomorrow.
Then at 10:00 pm I heard louder noise than usual outside my bedroom window. I always leave the foxes food out there. Well I looked out from behind the shade and there was that deer again. I got my camera and opened the window. I wanted him to get out of there. And this is what I got on camera after he was back at the top of the rock wall, looking back at me... It's cute, but dangerous for him.

Ha! Ha! It looks that way. The snow is melting fast on that rock wall. At this time it would not be able to go that way. It's been raining hard all night and 50 degree weather. That is changing today though when it turns into snow. March is a funny month. never know what it's going to do.
