I really haven't had much to write lately. I'm still feeling pretty good and have lots of energy! I'm cleaning closets and drawers and trying to get rid of a few things. Even selling stuff on Craig's List. I came across a bag of bras that I was going to throw out last year. They were way too small. I wore them years ago when I lost weight. Now they fit me perfect! I also found a couple pair of jeans that were way too small and now they aren't. I was sure happy I hadn't thrown them out. Saves me money. My nice leather coat that I've had for 30 years and just wouldn't part with fits me real nice now too! Not sure if I'll ever wear it though. I'm happy that these things fit me again but it's a hell of a way to lose weight. I've gone from 165 lbs. down to 125 right now. I should have been this weight all my life instead of letting sugar control me...but I loved baked stuff and chocolates..Ha! Still would like to eat that stuff but have had to retrain myself not to. Oh, I could still bake things if I wanted, as long as I don't use sugar or anything that is fungus related. I have found some good recipes online. Just haven't tried them yet.
I have some disturbing news to tell my family. My nephew, Rick, is having the same problems as I have had. He can't go to the bathroom and went to the emergency room the other day and will now have to have tests done to see if it's a tumor in his rectum. He called me the other day to ask what I was doing. He's going to do the Baking Soda thing but he still needs to get the tests to know how bad it is. He says he's had problems for the past two years. Just never mentioned it to anyone. He's 40 years old and my sister, Jeanne's son.
Then my sister, Jane, calls me and tells me that she's been coughing up blood. Her doctor thinks it's her lungs. She hasn't had any bleeding since last Thursday now but she still has to get a Cat Scan done to see what the problem is. That is not good. I sure hope it isn't serious.
I will try to keep you all informed on Rick and Jane as I hear anything.
