I guess everyone on the East coast is getting ready for the big storm. It might hit us with heavy winds and lots of rain but we will know more as the time passes. So far they say Tuesday will be our worst. With the full moon and high tides it might be real bad for the coast lines. Let's hope not. Hurricane Sandy is huge but it's the jet streams that might cause two different fronts to crash into each other and cause more problems.
I went out to Walmart last night to get a few things. I was going to get batteries but then forgot. For my portable radio and my flashlight. Hopefully I won't need them. Because I'm not going out again.
Got some stinging in my groin tumor this morning. Had a wicked back ache for the past two days so have been back on the Ibuprofen.
Jane and Savey will be heading to Myrtle Beach for a few weeks soon. I think she said they are leaving on the 6th.
Nina got the job in Albany and starts on December 13th! It's going to be a long commute for her every day. I will worry about her on those bad winter mornings.
Nina and the kids are going for some pumpkins today. At first I was going to have her pick me up one for the squirrels but then I remembered that there is always a pumpkin out front and they never touch it. So I told her to pick me up a bag of apples instead. She and the kids might come over tomorrow.
Debby drove down to Gloversville this morning to pick up two of her grandchildren and then she's bringing them back home with her for the night. Then she has to drive them back home tomorrow. She sure does a lot of driving.
Today is a nicer day than yesterday I think. Even though it's cooler. It was humid yesterday. I didn't like that. The clouds are moving in this afternoon though.
I was just talking to the two fawns. They come every day to eat the nuts. They are sisters. I haven't seen the male one in a long time. I think he has joined up with the young bucks and is wandering with them now. Unless he got hurt or something. It's weird that he has disappeared already. But maybe that's what the males do. I was hoping to see his little antlers grow.
I worry now that it's hunting and trapping season for the fox. I haven't seen all four of them for over a week now. just the dad and one of the pups. If there are people walking around in the woods then they will be very careful not to be seen.
All the leaves are just about gone off the trees now except for one with yellow leaves that are still hanging on.
Alysha only has one more month to go before her baby comes. She will be glad when that is over. It isn't easy for that last month. And she's so thin. But she has gained some weight. She looks good.
Guess that's all for now. Take care everyone and whoever is in the storm's path, stay safe.
