June 24, 2012-Saw Twin Fawns This Morning!

I've been watching and watching for the fawn to come back out with it's mom but I have only seen the mom. But this morning at 7 am I saw the mom coming over and then I saw the one fawn run by. I had my camera up high so I could get better video over that darn rock wall. Then I saw the mother go back a ways and there were two fawns! I was so surprised because I only thought she had that one. Now I know she wasn't pregnant when I thought she was or she would have been a lot bigger. She just eats a lot and stays fat and healthy I guess. They were so cute. Running and jumping. I could hardly get pictures of them. And here I am trying to get into the living room to that window when they went that way and then back in the bedroom. It's not easy with a walker..LOL. I managed to get some video of them and a few pictures. The photos are dark though. The sun hadn't hit that area yet. They weren't out there long and the mother had them headed back up to the top of the hill and over beyond my view. I'll be waiting tomorrow morning but maybe she will bring them back later this evening. That was my excitment for the day.
I haven't been doing much. The weather has been nicer though. Cooler. Today it's 80 but not humid. This week will be only in the high 60's so they say. And some rain.
I broke down and asked Nina to bring me some ice cream Thursday. Maple Walnut. She got it at Stewarts. That's where I always used to buy it. It's very good. But I won't do that again for a while. I don't want to get in the habit.
My back has been pretty good but yesterday it was bothering me on the left side hip area. I didn't take any Ibuprofen. And I haven't taken any today. I'm going to try and stay off that stuff now. I am going to start taking White Willow Bark to see if that helps.  It has the same ingredient as aspirin. (Silicin) Not sure how I'll feel but I'll try it for a while.
I thought I had my flange under control  but now it's itching like crazy again. I'm still using the Stomahesive powder and barrier wipes before I put it on. Seems like I'm allergic to everything now. Drives me nuts. I just get feeling better and now this has to bug me again. It's always something. I think I had three good days and that was it. I can't take Benedryl or anything like that because I'm allergic to that stuff too.
Lots of graduations this weekend. My niece, Kailyn graduated but her party isn't till July 15th. I won't be going to that though. She hasn't sent out any cards yet.
I'll have to be going out either tomorrow or early Tuesday morning. I never stock up on groceries . That forces me to get out anyway. I love it when I can go and not have any pains.

PS.... Jasper, my turtle is trying to get in the corner where all my computer wires are. She's very persistant so I have to get her out of here. She still hasn't eaten anything. It's been way over a month now. She won't stay in her water and she's very restless all the time. Don't know what I'm going to do with her. I really should have her put to sleep I guess. You wouldn't believe how strong she is though when she wants to get in a particular spot. Right now she's pushing my foot out of the way and she's mad because I put a container in front of the wires. Now she's trying to get on top of it.  Once she finds a spot she wants she never forgets and will keep going back. She's been sleeping in the living room underneath a table that I have in a corner with a cover over it that hangs to the floor. She has her privacy there. I wish she'd get back in there..
