I slept a little better last night. That noise wasn't quite as loud so that sure helped. I put Jasper in the water last night and at 5:30 this morning she was making a racket so I had to get up and let her out. So I've been up since then. I wish I could have stayed in bed till at least 7:30 this morning. Then that noise got louder it seemed from 5:30 till just a minute ago (8 am). I tried to sit at this computer but Jasper was trying to get into any small corner she could and was going back and forth along the electric heater in here and making o much noise. I just put her back in the water. I just can't seem to get any peaceful times. With the birds screeching all day and jasper so restless. At least yesterday afternoon was a bit peaceful when that noise went off. I hope it goes off totally again today. I can still hear it slightly right now though.
It's another gloomy, wet morning. Hopefully the sun will come out later. The oldest female fox was just down. I was talking to her right under my bedroom window. She's so pretty. The foxes make things a bit better and peaceful for me for a time anyway. Then it's back to the squirrels all over the place and jumping up on my window. I need a tranquilizer I think..Ha!
Have a nice day everyone. Maybe I'll have more to add later tonight on here. All depends on how my day goes.

So strange about that noise...I can't imagine what it is! Have a lovely weekend! Enjoy the foxes...I just get an occasional glimpse of the ones that have a den in my area. I wish I could have a few in my backyard to watch.

I have to tell you ...a 100 pound cougar was spotted at a local grocery store here. It had to be tranquilized. It had been coming into town for 3 weeks. Of course it was not brought to our attention until it was grocery shopping...hahaha! Actually it was napping under trees at the grocery store! I am sure glad it was not near my house. I might have lost a weiner dog or two or three! Actually my hounds don't go out alone but it was a scary thought! Well, enough, just wanted to leave you a comment since I haven't in days!

Yikes! I would never want to see a Cougar. They say there isn't any in NYS but people have spotted them at times. The DEC denies it. I'm just glad I never hear of bears around here.
Thanks for commenting Karen. Most people don't on this blog. The relatives don't know how..LOL And it takes time. I don't get the time to leave many comments on other's blogs either. I do have a few regulars over on my Photography blog. Take care. Glad you didn't have to encounter that Cougar. Your doggies are safe.
