I'm in a lot of discomfort tonight. But this afternoon I didn't feel too bad. The Ibuprofen isn't working right now. Very, very uncomfortable to sit. I'm going to go to bed and it's only 9 o'clock.
But I had a good day. I got my new muffler on my car and an oil change. They also had to change the power steering fluid. It was awful black. And it passed inspection!! The scraping noise was nothing. They just had to bend something. It's pretty rusty underneath anyway. But as far as the signal and back up lights not working. I had played around with the wires in the trunk the week before and unscrewed the area that takes the back up light cover off. I couldn't get it all the way out so ended up screwing it back together. I don't know what I did but after I put a fuse in it never blew! Maybe the wires were grounding off the car or something. All I care is they are working!! First time in a year! So I'm happy that I can keep my car on the road for another year. Not sure if I'll be around another year but at least I'll have my car as long as I am able to drive.
My sister, Debby, met me over at Cole Muffler yesterday and brought me back home. My car spent the night there because they had to get a muffler from Syracuse and didn't get it in time. My daughter, Nina, was doing errands all day today so when she got done at 3 pm, she stopped at Cole and paid my bill. That was so nice of her. First time I've ever needed any help from her. Then she came and got me to go get my car. Sure is so much quieter now! The old ladies won't have to keep telling me that my car needs a muffler. And they won't hear me coming now. Ha! Ha! They are so nosy.
