The pain in my ass is getting worse. All day yesterday I was very uncomfortable. I'm taking three Ibuprofen at a time now, every 5 or 6 hours. I didn't feel well enough to even go out and get my mail and it's only outside my door. Not till evening, when I started feeling a bit better. I'm taking more laxatives now also. If I get even a small pea-sized piece of crap caught behind that tumor it bothers me so much so better to keep it flowing. Which then keeps me near the toilet. I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't. Can't win in this situation.
I took a chance and went to Walmart at 8 am this morning. I had gone to the bathroom at least five times already. I was only gone 30 minutes. I had some pressure while walking around in there and thought I'd have to get to the bathroom but it passed thank heavens. Now I'm back home where I feel safe again. I really hate going out anywhere.
My left foot is dropping more it seems and it's hard to keep that foot comfortable. I'm constantly changing the lifts around inside, trying to get it to where I feel better. I tried an old ankle brace on but it hits above on my leg so hard that it hurts. So can't wear that thing. never could because of the hurting on my leg. I could go get fitted for a brace but why bother at this stage in my life. Not going to be around that much longer anyway.
On the brighter side, it's a nice day here but going to get in the high 80's. Then the temperature is going to drop some for the next few days. I'm still trying to get the little woodchuck used to me but he keeps running to his hole. Eventually he will though, like his mom. She comes running right to me when I call her.
The pups were out there at 7 am this morning waiting for me. Oh! The night before last the raccoon showed up for the first time in a couple weeks. He was scratching the side of the building at 2:30 am so I got up and opened the window to talk to him and give him a few nuts. Then a damn skunk came along and wanted his nuts and he sprayed at the coon I think because the coon disappeared. And while I was looking out the window I saw two of the pups on top of the rock wall also. They were looking down at me. They are out at all hours of the day and night. I wonder when they sleep?? Ha! Ha!
I am in some pain and discomfort right now. Waiting for the Ibuprofen to kick in. My Cockatiel, Ricky, is in the other room squawking and squawking. He irritates me so much sometimes. I feel like throwing him against the wall when I am hurting and in a bad mood. But I will never do it. You all know that.

July 23, 2010- My car passed Inspection!
I'm in a lot of discomfort tonight. But this afternoon I didn't feel too bad. The Ibuprofen isn't working right now. Very, very uncomfortable to sit. I'm going to go to bed and it's only 9 o'clock.
But I had a good day. I got my new muffler on my car and an oil change. They also had to change the power steering fluid. It was awful black. And it passed inspection!! The scraping noise was nothing. They just had to bend something. It's pretty rusty underneath anyway. But as far as the signal and back up lights not working. I had played around with the wires in the trunk the week before and unscrewed the area that takes the back up light cover off. I couldn't get it all the way out so ended up screwing it back together. I don't know what I did but after I put a fuse in it never blew! Maybe the wires were grounding off the car or something. All I care is they are working!! First time in a year! So I'm happy that I can keep my car on the road for another year. Not sure if I'll be around another year but at least I'll have my car as long as I am able to drive.
My sister, Debby, met me over at Cole Muffler yesterday and brought me back home. My car spent the night there because they had to get a muffler from Syracuse and didn't get it in time. My daughter, Nina, was doing errands all day today so when she got done at 3 pm, she stopped at Cole and paid my bill. That was so nice of her. First time I've ever needed any help from her. Then she came and got me to go get my car. Sure is so much quieter now! The old ladies won't have to keep telling me that my car needs a muffler. And they won't hear me coming now. Ha! Ha! They are so nosy.

We sure had a lot of rain fall today in a short time. Very humid. I went over to Walmart at 8:30 this evening. I always like going at night. It's cooler too.
Things are about the same with me. Today I went to the toilet a lot but felt better because I finally felt like things were moving better and cleaned me out. I took an extra Ducolax yesterday and it helped. I usually take two but I took three. I have to keep taking the Ibuprofen or I have terrible aching type pain in my rectum. When it goes away I sure feel a lot better..
My hand hasn't improved at all. But at least I have enough strength to lift things and throw nuts for the critters up over the rock wall again. I can't open any cans with the can opener though. have to use my left one.
My oldest daughter, who lives out in MN has been having stiff neck and shoulder problems for over a month now. I really think she has Viral Meningitis. She will never go to a doctor though. I am worried about her. She doesn't have a very good life out there and lives like a hippy. The guy she lives with, who is the father of the three young boys, lives in the other side of the house. She doesn't drive and has to depend on him to get the groceries . But she's so fussy about the kind of lemons that he bought that she wouldn't use them. I told her it's better to have some real lemon juice than none at all. She says she has to pick Dandelions to make tea or Burdock roots. She's into all things natural but does not eat right. If it was bacterial Meningitis she'd be dead by now so thank heavens it isn't that type. She did say that one of the boys had a stiff neck for a day. I thought that was contagious. I've tried to read about the different kinds. I sure hope it clears up. It's scary.
Haven't heard any more from Jane about her lung problem.
My sister, Pam, said she hurt her right hand and couldn't brush her teeth and had to use her left. I told her just be glad she didn't break it. She's never gone for tests so not sure what her other problems were when she complained about her belly.
I guess the kids had a good time at Rich's last Saturday. But the boys got drunk. Steve was passed out for three hours and Jeanne had to wake him up so they could have his birthday cake. He's not even supposed to be drinking. He and Jeanne's son, Rick, spent the night because they were drinking. Right now Steve is in NC with his daughter and ex-wife. They bought him a plane ticket and he flew down Thursday. Coming back this Thursday I guess. he wants to move down there so bad but he can't leave the state till his probation is done in Sept. He's been on probation for 5 years for DWI's.
Haven't heard from my other daughter, Nina, yet. So not sure if she got the house or not. She had a great time camping with her girls over the 4th. Got her pics on my other blog that I keep for her.
The Granddaughters down south have been busy. Sarah is now an official United States Linguist with the Air Force and Heather got a commendation award and medal for her duty in Iraq. She also just got married. A quick ceremony for now. She will have a bigger wedding when Waylon comes back from Afghanistan. He leaves in Nov. I think. She might get deployed again also. All their pictures are on my other blog that I keep for them.

I think my tumor is pushing on the nerves to my legs. My legs feel very weak when that tumor is hurting. And for the past couple days I've had a pain in my right hip. It's not bad but notice it when I walk sometimes and it feels like my leg will give out. Now I have to be real careful that I don't fall again. I took three Ibuprofen this morning. Sometimes the ache is worse so am trying three to see how long it lasts. I have not felt well lately. On the toilet every ten minutes it seems.
I haven't heard from anyone about the party at Rich's on Saturday. I hate missing family parties.
The Motionbox site where I've been keeping tons of videos for the past few years is closing down so any embedded videos I have on any of my blogs on here will not show up any more. I will have to try and get them loaded to Youtube. The trouble with Youtube is they won't let me keep some of the music I have on them. That's a bummer. But I'll work something out. Snapfish bought out Motionbox but they will not have the embedded feature. Youtube works fine for me so far. And it's free! I've been paying $39.95 a year to keep that Motionbox site. I was thinking about canceling that anyway. So now I have some work to do to try and replace those videos on my blogs. It's the family blogs that I want to do. Not the Photography one. They can see those videos on Youtube.
It's going to be a real hot week here again and very humid. Yuck!

Things are pretty much the same with me. Nothing is getting any better. Just staying the same. Better to stay the same than get worse.
I haven't heard any more from Jane as far as her bacteria in her lungs go. She is trying to stick to a good diet.
My brother, Rich, is having a picnic at his place in Munnsville on Saturday. I won't be going. It's a 45 minute drive and I'd have to get on a toilet a few times along the way. Not good for me. I would be too uncomfortable. The older ones in the family are going. It's so nice out there where he and Ann are. There's a falls right behind his house and he has a big deck. I will miss taking pictures. No one else will probably. Seems no one ever cares about taking pictures but me.
It's been in the 90's and very humid all this week. I thank God that my air conditioner is working. I can't stand the heat. I have to go out tomorrow. I am going to try and go early in the morning to get my critter food. Just hope I can and not have to be on the toilet. I'm not eating anything after 4 pm so maybe my bowels will be emptied out earlier. Then tomorrow night I'll go grocery shopping if I feel up to it. It's supposed to be cooler by then.
I still haven't taken my car into Cole Muffler to get a new one put on. It's been way too hot. Maybe next week. I am still debating with myself whether to keep it on the road or not. It all depends on how much it will cost to fix. I'd like to keep it though. It's my only source of Independence.

I haven't been feeling that great all week. I've been bleeding too much. Last night I couldn't seem to get rid of the pain, no matter how many Ibuprofen I took. But when the pain is gone I feel so good and do as much as I can around here. My hand aches a lot too. It's still very stiff and my fingers ache a lot. Oh well. That's my life at this point. No use complaining about it. I do what I can.
I'm still here at least. Ha! Ha!
Have a great weekend everyone. Enjoy the nice weather. It's hot here. I stay inside of course, with my air conditioner. And to be near the damn toilet.
Haven't heard anything from anyone else in the family. Guess they are okay. No one ever comes around much. They know how I feel. If you couldn't ever visit me before I got sick then don't bother visiting when I don't feel like having company. Jane calls me about once every two or three weeks and Jeanne comes over once a month usually. Nina comes when I need her, which isn't often these days. Hope I don't need her too often in the future either. I hate bothering her.
